LIBER Quarterly is the peer reviewed, open access journal of LIBER, the Association of European Research Libraries. The journal seeks to cover all aspects of modern research librarianship and scientific information delivery. It strives to form a bridge between the scholars of the Library and Information Sciences (LIS) and the practitioners in our university and research libraries by publishing not only theoretical contributions, but also examples of good practices.
LIBER Quarterly (LQ) is moving. During the coming few months, we will be working behind the scenes to transfer all LQ content to a new platform so that we can establish a sustainable and adaptable publishing platform for the journal going forward. We expect to ‘switch on’ the new platform in July 2021 and our intention is that this will be a seamless experience for all our community - readers, authors and reviewers.
The new platform is provided by openjournals.nl and is based on OJS3 technology – the industry standard for opensource publication software. Given the current platform uses OJS2, we hope the user experience will feel familiar, but slicker. Watch this space for further updates.
We thank Utrecht University for their support for LQ via the UOpen platform over many successful years.
